Getting Started with AI Fashion Generation

Introduction
Fittins AI creates photos and short videos of AI models wearing or holding your products. You add photos of a product, choose an AI model to wear it, describe the shot you want, and get back an image you can use on product pages, social media and ads, with full commercial rights.
This guide covers setting up your account, the main parts of the app, how credits work and how to generate your first image. It is written for complete beginners; you do not need any photography or AI experience.
What You Will Need
A Fittins AI account (free to sign up), one to three photos of a product (clothing, shoes or accessories) and a few minutes. New accounts get 100 free credits after verifying their email address.
How a Generation Works
Every generation, image or video, is built from three required inputs and one optional one:
- An AI model: the person who wears or holds your product. Choose one from the library, or create your own custom model on a paid plan.
- One to three product photos: the item itself, ideally from more than one angle.
- A prompt: a written description of the pose, setting, lighting and style, up to 1,500 characters.
- A location (optional): a scene from the location library or your own custom locations. You can also describe the setting in your prompt instead.
You also choose a few settings, such as the aspect ratio and quality. The AI then produces an image of your model wearing your product in the scene you described. You cannot generate from a prompt alone, and you cannot make product-only shots without a model, so have your product photos ready before you start.
Create Your Account
Sign up
Go to fittins.ai and click Sign In. You can register with an email address and password, or continue with Google.
Verify your email to get 100 free credits
If you registered with email, open the verification link sent to your inbox. Once your email address is verified, 100 free credits are added to your account, so you can try the product before choosing a plan.
Finding Your Way Around
- Home: a quick generation panel and a gallery of example generations for ideas.
- Generate: the full generation page with every setting. Your finished results appear further down the page under My Generations.
- Models: the AI model library and your custom models. On a paid plan you can create a custom model from a reference photo or a text description, for 40 credits each, and reuse it in any generation.
- Locations: the location library and your custom locations. On a paid plan you can also create custom locations, for 40 credits each.
- Pricing: the plans and what each one includes.
Generate Your First Image
Open the Generate page
Click Generate in the navigation. In the Settings area, make sure the type is set to Image.
Choose an AI model
Click the Model card and pick a model from the library. Choose one that suits your audience and brand; you can always try others later.
Add your product photos
Click an empty product slot to upload a photo. Add up to three photos of the same product, such as the front, the back and a close-up of a detail. Sharp, evenly lit photos on a plain background work best; aim for at least 1024 x 1024 pixels and avoid blurry or heavily filtered images.
Write your prompt
Describe the shot: the pose, the setting, the lighting and the style. Refer to your item as "the product" or by what it is, such as "the denim jacket", rather than redescribing it. Start simple and add detail once you see how the AI responds. The structure below is a good starting point.

Pick an aspect ratio: 1:1, 9:16, 16:9, 3:4, 4:3, 3:2 or 2:3. For your first image, leave the model tier on Default and the quality at the base 1K level; at these settings an image costs 40 credits. If you want a specific backdrop, click the Location card and choose one, or leave it empty when your prompt already describes the setting.
Generate and review
Click Generate. The button shows the credit cost for your current settings. An image usually takes about a minute. Check the fit, the product details, the hands and the face. If something is off, change one part of the prompt and generate again.
Download your image
Download the finished image as a PNG. It also stays under My Generations, so you can come back to it later.
Quick Win: Learn From the Gallery
Not sure what to write? Browse the gallery and open an image you like. Each one shows the prompt that was used, which you can adapt for your own product and model.
Understanding Credits
Every generation uses credits. At default settings (Default model tier, 1K quality) an image costs 40 credits; higher tiers and higher quality cost more, up to 100 credits per image. Videos cost 80 to 330 credits depending on the model tier, length and quality, and creating a custom model or custom location costs 40 credits.
Your 100 sign-up credits cover two images at default settings, so use them to learn how your prompt and product photos affect the result. The Free plan then adds 40 credits each month for images. Paid plans start with Creator Kickstart at $5 a month for 500 credits, and higher plans add more credits and features. You can compare them all on plans and pricing.
What unlocks on which plan:
- Every plan: images at 1K, with the Turbo and Default model tiers.
- From Creator Kickstart: video (5 or 10 seconds, with optional ambient sound), plus custom models and custom locations.
- From Creator Starter: 2K, 4K and 8K images and the Premium tier for images.
- From Creator Pro: the Premium tier for video, and 2K and 4K video.
- From Creator Business: the Ultra tier.
Iterate, Don't Agonize
Your first result will rarely be perfect, and that is normal. Change one thing at a time, such as the pose, the light or the setting, so you learn what each change does. Get the prompt right at default settings before moving to a higher tier or quality.
Best Practices
- Start simple. Begin with a short prompt and add detail once you see what the AI does with it.
- Use good product photos. They have the biggest effect on how accurately your product appears.
- Match the model to your audience. Try a few AI models from the library to find the ones that suit your brand.
- Ask for a photographic look. Lens, lighting and depth-of-field terms in the prompt help results look like real photos.
- Keep a set consistent. Use the same AI model, and the same location if you have one, across a set of images so they look like one shoot.
- Test with images before video. An image at default settings costs 40 credits, half the price of the cheapest video, so check the look with an image before generating a video of the same setup.
