On-model product photos for your Shopify store

Most Shopify stores start with flat or hanger photos, but shoppers want to see how a piece looks when it is worn. Fittins AI turns the product photos you already have into images of an AI model wearing them, so every product page can show the fit, the length and how the piece sits on a body.

You upload one to three product photos, pick a model and describe the shot. When you like a result, download it as a PNG and add it to the product in Shopify like any other image. There is no app to install and nothing in your store changes.

How it works

  1. 1

    Start from your product photos

Use the photos you already have: flat, on a hanger or on a mannequin. Add one to three products per image.

  2. 2

    Choose a model

Pick a model from the library, or on a paid plan create a custom model so the same person appears across your whole catalogue.

  3. 3

    Describe the shot

For example: "full body, plain light grey background, soft studio light, front view". Up to 1,500 characters.

  4. 4

    Download and upload

Download the image as a PNG and add it to the product in Shopify, next to your other photos.

What Shopify sellers use it for

  • A first on-model image for products that only have flat or hanger photos.
  • A consistent look across the catalogue: the same model, background and light on every product page.
  • Every colour of a product shown on a model, without a photoshoot for each one.
  • Images for collection pages, banners and ads in the same style as the product pages.
  • Short videos of the product being worn, included from Creator Kickstart.

Getting the format right

Images come in seven aspect ratios: square (1:1), portrait (3:4, 2:3 and 9:16) and landscape (4:3, 3:2 and 16:9). Use the one your theme shows product images in, so photos line up in collection grids. Many themes look best with square or 3:4 images.

The free plan exports images in standard resolution. 2K, 4K and 8K are included from Creator Starter, which helps when your theme lets shoppers zoom in. Check your theme settings and Shopify's current guidance on image size before you upload a whole catalogue.

Keeping product pages accurate

  • Start from a clear product photo in even light, with the whole item in frame.
  • Check colour, logos, prints and small details against the real product before publishing, and regenerate if anything drifted.
  • Say how it should fit in the prompt: oversized, slim, cropped, tucked in.
  • Keep at least one real photo of the product on the page, so shoppers can compare.
